Almay Kinetin

Almay Kinetin

What is Almay Kinetin?

Almay Kinetin is a product line based for wrinkles around an ingredient known as kinetin, which they claim will actually reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, blotchiness, uneven skin tone, and will improve skin texture and smoothness all by certain percentages. It is apparently found in nature and proven by science and will produce dramatic results without irritation.

History of Almay Kinetin

Almay Kinetin was first introduced in the early 2000′s, though Almay as a company was actually introduced in 1930. They claim that even at that time, they found problems and wanted to produce something else. They developed it using dermatologist Dr Marion Sulzberger and to be sensitive enough for Fanny May to use. It was founded by Alfred and Fanny May.

Benefits

Kinetin actually has the potential to fight against lower collagen levels and replenish them to some degree while also replenishing the skin in other ways. But they only use an extremely low concentration as is judged by the ingredients list or rather the absence thereof.

Side Effects

Side effects will include redness, irritation, flaking, sensitivity to the sun, and otherwise.

Conclusion

Though they have one wrinkle fighter, that does not justify all their claims, especially considering the absence of actual information. We would not suggest anything in this product line. Their only other listed ingredient isn’t even actually a wrinkle fighter.
