Aveeno

What is Aveeno?
Aveeno is a huge conglomerate that has literally been around for years creating hair products, skin products, baby products, the like. They claim that their Aveeno Positively Ageless formulas will produce greater results in general. Apparently, 90% of women experience signs of aging on their skin when over 35, and Aveeno can address this problem in just 2 weeks in 100% of women.
History of Aveeno
Aveeno was begun in 1945 with an oatmeal bath treatment. Since then, it has been used for various benefits, and they have since produced a number of different products. In 2000, they released a line of baby products made with the primary ingredient of oatmeal. They continue to produce products that they claim are endorsed by doctors and dermatologists in general.
Benefits
They do have ingredients that are supposed to be sunscreens in a number of their products as well as great numbers of moisturizers. They seem to have only small concentrations that are rather insignificant though, and they don’t actually have any wrinkle fighting ingredients.
Side Effects
It has ingredients like titanium dioxide, which will actually irritate the skin, make it more sensitive to sunlight, and otherwise make it red, peeling, and otherwise.
Conclusion
We would not recommend Aveeno products in general. They are worthless in general terms, and there is a reason they are mostly sold in common drug stores and grocery stores. Nobody would logically pay more for them, especially if they knew what ingredients are usually in the products.
