What is Elite HGF Youth Elixir?

This serum is designed to make the skin look and feel younger. Elite’s patented product called Thymulen-4 is used to restore the natural loss of our thymic factors related to the decline of the thymus with age. Most of us have never heard of the thymus and these sadly declining thymic factors. This all makes a little more sense when we consider that Thymulen-4 is actually Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2. Still not clearing it up for you? Peptides stimulate collagen production which makes the skin look younger and fuller. However, at least peptides are needed to be effective, so we’re interested in looking at the rest of the ingredients to see what else Elite HGF Youth Elixir has to offer.

Ingredients

Seaweed Extract, Purified Water, Hyaluronic Acid, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, Phenoxyethanol, Ehtylhexylglycerin

Pros

There is hyaluronic acid in this product. That is known to stimulate collagen production, since it produces retinol, which then produces collagen. It also contains a peptide, which is an effective ingredient to an extent.

Cons

We don’t think this product contains enough peptides to be effective. It is also contains ehtylhexylglycerin which is a preservative that causes skin irritation. It is commonly found in cheap cosmetics and other products, but this serum isn’t cheap. It costs over $100 for about one fluid ounce. For that price, you should expect to see some serious results and some more effective ingredients.

Conclusion

We wouldn’t recommend this product. It is too expensive for what you are getting – which is basically hyaluronic acid. You can get that at a higher concentration for much cheaper. It also irritants, which are unacceptable, especially from a company that claims to use the highest quality ingredients. We would recommend finding something that has proven ingredients and double checking the science for yourself – don’t just assume that because a product uses complicated technology that it will work for you.
