What is Arbonne NutriMinC RE?

Arbonne NutriMinC RE is not just one product. It is actually a product line brought to you from Arbonne. There are several different products including a Deep Pore Cleansing Masque, a Balancing Toner, a Corrective Eye Cream, a Reversing Gelee Transforming Lift, and a Dietary Supplement. These are all designed to target different aspects of skin care. Some of them are meant to work together, but they are all based on the RE9 blend.

Benefits

The RE9 blend is an anti-aging blend that has a patent pending for it. It contains many vitamins and antioxidants that are supposed to hep condition and supplement your skin. It also contains certain ingredients to strengthen your skin. Each product is based on this formula, but contains other ingredients to tailor it for certain areas of the skin.

Side Effects

There are most likely no side effects unless you have an allergy. We’re really not sure the effectiveness of the RE9 blend. The strengthening ingredients are plant derived, and that means they are safe. However, they are not a high concentration of Peptides. Peptides have been shown to be the most effective at strengthening the skins fibers. We think this will have some good benefits for the skin such as helping your complexion, but will most likely not reduce wrinkles.

Conclusion

These products will probably help your skin in some ways. However, they don’t have any wrinkle reducing powers. Even the corrective eye cream doesn’t really have the needed ingredients. In fact, they don’t really tell you what ingredients are supposed to help you reduce wrinkles. We suggest going with products geared for actual wrinkle treatment.

What is Anti Wrinkle 55 Wrinkle Cream?

Anti Wrinkle 55 Wrinkle Cream is advertised as being the absolute strongest wrinkle cream to help you prevent and eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. With the hundreds of other wrinkle products on the market that is a lot to live up to. So what does this product claim to be able to do? Well they say that it can get rid of wrinkles, they also say that it can reverse other signs of aging because it penetrates deep into the skin to relax and moisturize it. They also say that the peptides and fatty acids can give you smoother skin. We weren’t sure how many of the claims were actually true, but let’s compare the benefits and side effects.

Benefits

It contains Matrixyl which is a copper peptides. Peptides are actually very effective wrinkle treatments because they can increase collagen in your skin to help firm it and smooth out wrinkles. It also contains vitamin E which can help to repair damage done.

Side Effects

It contains some good ingredients, but the official website does not tell us how much of each ingredient is in it. We’re not sure it contains the right amount of peptides to really do much good. The fact that they don’t advertise a high concentration tells us that they are most likely including just the minimum amount.

Conclusion

This product is better than some that we have reviewed; they actually contain peptides. However, because we’re not sure the amount of peptides we cannot fully recommend this product. There is a 90 day money back guarantee so it may be worth a risk, but we still suggest going for products that tell you how much of each ingredient they contain.

What is Serutox?

Serutox calls itself the original “Botox alternative” and claims to eliminate the wrinkles and fine lines that form on the forehead and around the eyes. Serutox was created by an Australian doctor named Dr. Bakaric and has been sold in over 24 countries since 2002. Serutox is supposed to facilitate your more youthful appearance within three to six weeks when used according to the instructions. This product is available for purchase from the Serutox official website and costs about $94.99.

Benefits

Serutox does not have a roster of ingredients for us to evaluate at this time. Without knowing what is their compound we are hard-pressed to uncover any benefits that could be gained by using this product. According the Serutox’s own product description you should be able to see smoother skin and less fine lines due to the product’s ability to relax the facial muscles over time. As far as we are aware the only ingredient that can boast of this is peptide argireline. But we cannot be certain that this ingredient is in Serutox therefore we cannot guarantee that Serutox has the ability to relax your facial muscles either.

Side Effects

In our experience it is never a good sign when a company omits its ingredient roster. It shows either a lack of confidence the fundamentals of their formula or an attempt to shield potentially dangerous ingredients from unsuspecting consumers. A company with quality ingredients and a solid formulation will be more than willing to let you know what to expect from their product. Furthermore, with no ingredient information we can’t begin to help you with what adverse effects you could expect by using Serutox. Generally allergic reactions are the main concern with a topical cream.

Conclusion

We are never impressed with a company that is unwilling to release the most basic information about their product. A legitimate product would have no trouble keeping potential consumers informed. Serutox does offer a 60 day money back guarantee. The manufacturers of Serutox encourage the use of their product for at least 6 weeks before returning it. The fact is that you should be able to see changes before then if this product were as potent as they say. We do not recommend Serutox at this time.

What is Avotone?

Avotone is a beauty and skin care product that boasts the same power and capacity for eliminating wrinkles on the face as the extremely effective injected product Botox. Avotone claims that their formula has been developed around peptide argireline which relaxes the muscles to calm the habitual facial expressions we make which in turn create our fine lines. Avotone asserts that their product is a pH balanced formula and they cite the use of avocado oil in accomplishing this. Avotone retails for $49.95

Benefits

Without a full ingredient list it is pretty much impossible to determine whether or not Avotone has any power to affect the wrinkle decreasing results you desire. Generally a product that contains strong, fine line fighting elements will announce them. The fact that Avotone is keeping their complete ingredient catalog a mystery leads us to speculate that there is nothing on that list to brag about.

Side Effects

Again, without knowing what is in Avotone we can’t prepare you for any potential side effects. We can tell you that in our experience hidden ingredients tend to be either fillers or unproven and potentially harmful. There is always a slight risk of an allergic reaction when using a topical cream for the first time.

Conclusion

It is unrealistic for Avotone to ask for almost $50 and then provide virtually no information to their potential customers. We feel that a strong and worthy product would be proud to make such vital information available. Since Avotone obviously doesn’t want you to know something about its product we suggest you find a more informative company to buy your skin care products from. We do not recommend Avotone.

What is Abra Therapeutics?

Abra Therapeutics is a product that claims to “bring organic herbalism and the science of skin and body care into holistic unity.” This product was created by the husband and wife team of Warren and Arie Raysor, who also have a line of cosmetics to their credit. The Abra Therapeutics line boast 3 main products but we will be focusing on the Abra Age Resistance Formula for the purposes of this review since anti-aging products are what we and our readers are mostly concerned with. According to the official site, Abra Therapeutics Age Resistance Cream contains white willow bark, sea algae, milk thistle, liposome encapsulated antioxidant vitamins, pure essential oils, lavender, and Queen Anne’s lace. This product sells for $26.

Benefits

Upon learning that Abra Therapeutics is an all organic formula we were interested to see how any anti-aging results were achieved as most of the anti-aging elements that can be implemented into a product tend to reproductions of elements found in the human body. Upon evaluating the provided ingredient list we are still curious since a lot of the mentioned elements are hidden in vague wording and phrasing. “Liposome encapsulated antioxidant vitamins” could refer to any number of natural vitamins. “Pure essential oils” could mean anything from lavender oil to canola oil. Willow bark is basically a natural version of aspirin but holds no relevance for a skin care formula.

Side Effects

None of the ingredients that are specifically mentioned hold any value as anti-aging agents. We could not find any evidence that negative effects will occur upon using Abra Therapeutics but this product is equally devoid of positive effects.

Conclusion

Abra Therapeutics comes across as a genuine product. It is manufactured by a husband and wife who are considered with holistic ingredients and methods of treatment. Their official website is concise and easy to navigate. Everything about this product shouts “wholesome” and “healthy.” Unfortunately, Abra Therapeutics does not have the capacity to deliver on its promises or to give you any anti-aging results whatsoever. We do not recommend this product.

What is Prevage MD?

Prevage MD is a wrinkle reduction formula that has been developed by the same makers of such wildly popular and effective anti-aging products as Botox and Juvaderm. Allergen, the manufacturers of this product, have created a specifically formulated blend that is supposed to provide superior protection from damaging elements such as the sun, cigarette smoke, ozone depletion, and other air pollutants. Prevage MD has been engineered around the ingredient coenzyme Q10. This product is supposedly available only through a physician but it has been seen on auction sites such as Amazon as well. This product retails for $115.00

Benefits

Coenzyme Q10 can be an effective skin care agent against the damage that can occur when skin is exposed to the sun and free radicals. Since it is hard to avoid the sun, and unhealthy to do so and free radicals are impossible to escape as they are a part of the air we breathe constantly, this is not an ingredient that should be undervalued. This product does not boast of wrinkle fighting abilities which is good since Coenzyme Q10 (Prevage MD’s only noted ingredient) does not have any proven capacity to assist in anti-aging effects.

Side Effects

A less positive effect of Coenzyme Q10 is that it has been known to cause a higher level of sensitivity to the sun’s rays much like the use of microdermabrasion. This is important to be aware of since the sun is a part of most of our daily lives.

Conclusion

Prevage MD is one of the few skin care products that doesn’t make any outrageous boasts or shield the fact that it can’t accomplish everything you might hope for. This is quite an exemplary trait from a beauty line manufacturer as most are more than willing to proclaim abilities and promises that they can’t possible support. Prevage MD can help you achieve the effects that it claims. It will not aid you in any wrinkle reduction and they also make that clear. Our only issue with this product is its high price. You can probably find a slightly lesser product for 80 to 90% less money that can give you similar benefits.

What is Oxyage?

Oxyage is a unique skin care product that purports to help you achieve healthier skin through the use of micronutrients that are 100% natural and balanced. This product is not a cream. Oxyage is a pill that is absorbed into the blood stream and then works to effect change from inside the body. This product is created using green super foods, anti aging nutrients, berry antioxidants, MSM, and ellagic acid. You can purchase Oxyage at the price of $44.75

Benefits

Along with the skin care benefits Oxyage claims, this product also implies that it has the capacity to give you more energy. This assumption is gathered from the statement Oxyage released saying, “…old rats got up and did the Macarena” upon being tested with the Oxyage compound. Energy can effect subtle changes in appearance as some of the dark circles and sluggish skin we experience as we age is due to inefficient rest.

Side Effects

Oxyage does not provide us with any specific ingredients. Instead they use vague phrasing such as “anti-aging nutrients” or “green super foods.” This wording could literally be interpreted to be a hundred different items. There is no guarantee that the actual elements utilized in the Oxyage formula have any skin care or wrinkle reduction abilities. Ingredients that could assist in the erasing of fine lines such as DMAE, peptides, elastin or collagen would be listed proudly if they were included. The awkward phrasing of ingredients leads us to conclude that Oxyage does not contain any adequate elements in their mixture and that you cannot expect to see any positive side effects from using this product.

Conclusion

Oxyage seems to be a product that is overflowing with fillers and lacking any substance. This product cannot deliver the results it boasts of. The only potential benefit that may exist is the ability to potentially increase your energy but even that isn’t worth a near $45 price tag. We suggest you look into product that include the relevant above mentioned ingredients of DMAE, peptides, elastin and collagen if you are interested in seeing real and substantial anti-aging results. We do not recommend Oxyage.

What is GeniSphere?

GeniSphere refers to their wrinkle cream as a panacea for the skin. This formulation in meant to reduce the wrinkles that form on the skin with age and time. GeniSphere purports to be the strongest and most effective over the counter anti-wrinkle cream available. This product has a long list of ingredients some of which include the following; Water, Cetyl Alcohol, PEG-12 Glyceryl Distearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Glycerin, Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Camellia sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, and Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract. The list is about twice as long as what we have provided and we will evaluate the ingredients for closely below. This product retails for about $49.95.

Benefits

Three of the ingredients found in the GeniSphere blend (namely Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Camellia sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, and Vitis vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract) are antioxidants that work to kill bacteria and free radicals that your skin may encounter throughout the course of your average day. These toxins can cause minute damage that compounds over time. Another ingredient, hyaluronic acid, is a natural moisturizer.

Side Effects

The vast majority of the ingredients included in the GeniSphere formula are preservatives and some are potentially harmful, such as butylenes glycol. Even the ingredients that do have some relevance as skin care agents are not in any way related to wrinkle reduction. If the ingredients are to be believed, this product has no anti-aging benefits that you can’t get from a $5 bottle of lotion.

Conclusion

We commend GeniSphere for providing a comprehensive list of ingredients. Most skin care products won’t do that. Unfortunately, GeniSphere does not contain anything that supports their claim to be a cure-all for skin problems such as wrinkles and loss of elasticity. Any benefits you could receive from GeniSphere can be found in plenty of other products which are available for ten times less than GeniSphere is asking you to spend. We do not recommend GeniSphere.

TNS Essential Serum has been hailed as “an unpatrolled anti-aging serum.” TNS Essential Serum has two distinct formulas included in each 28.4g and 1oz bottle. TNS Essential Serum’s main ingredients are listed as Human fibroblast conditioned media, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Aminobutyric acid, Hyaluronic filling spheres, Ubiquinone coenzyme q10, vit C & E, Dipalmitoyl Hydroxiproline, EGT, Alpha-Arbutrin, Hydrolyzed silk, Phospholipids, Green Tea extract and Black Berry extract, Saccharomyces Fermant Filltrate Lysate. This product is sold at the price of $237.50

Benefits

The TNS Recovery Complex is located in one chamber and is said to reduce the appearance of fine line and wrinkles, diminish the appearance of age spots and dyspigmentation, improve skin texture, tone and elasticity, and reduce roughness and photodamage (sun damage). The APS Corrective Complex is found in the second chamber and promises to be strengthen your skin’s ability to regenerate, fight against environmental damage and free radicals, as well as smooth and tighten skin.

Side Effects

The only negative side effect we can find in regard to TNS Essential Serum is its deflating result for your bank account. This is one of the higher priced skin care products that we have found. However, this is also one of the few products we have found that is apparently, very highly regarded. We read more than one consumer review that cited a physician or dermatologists as the one who recommend the use of TNS Essential Serum. That is not to be overlooked.

Conclusion

If you are in desperate need of skin care then TNS Essential Serum will probably give you as least some of the results you seek. The price tag is hefty so we would encourage you to discuss the ingredients with your doctor first. You never know what prescription treatment they may be able to give you with the same basic formula and that your insurance might cover. It is worth asking about. If you both determine that TNS Essential Serum would be the best product for your issue than we have no doubt it will help you achieve the results you desire.

What is Eylipex-2?

Eylipex-2 is a skin care product that has been engineered to address the specific concerns of acne, dull and aging skin, redness, irritation, and severely dryness. Eylipex-2 also includes an eye lift circle reducer cream which is sold in a two piece kit, one for day time use and one for night time use. Eylipex-2 is sold exclusively from the nationwide chain of Kohl’s department stores at the time of this review and can be purchased either at your local Kohl’s location or on their website for the price $39.50.

Benefits

Eylipex-2 has gained a modicum of popularity at the Kohl’s department stores and that type of success can usually be attributed to good word of mouth advertising. Unfortunately, that is all speculation as we could not find any verifiable clinical trials or consumer reviews to support the effectiveness of Eylipex-2.

Side Effects

Side effects are generally considered to be bad things but if you think about it, the fact is that you want certain side effects from any skin care product or else you wouldn’t be using it. Eylipex-2 claims that their positive side effects include the reduction of wrinkles, redness, acne, etc… but they have not given us any means of determining whether these promises are valid. Eylipex-2 provides no complete ingredient list for us to compare to proven formulas and thus we cannot measure this product’s potential. The ingredients that Eylipex-2 does list are filler ingredients with no real validity in a skin care formula such as Mala-Plump, Haloxyl PFE, Rhoa-Cite, and Suberlift.

Conclusion

We are never impressed by a skin care line that feels the need to keep essential information from possible customers. It doesn’t make any sound fiscal sense unless the company has something to be ashamed of. For almost $40 we would expect some sense of responsibility from Eylipex-2 in the form of a statistics gathered through clinical trials or, at the very least, a catalog of the elements and amounts used in creating their formulation. Eylipex-2 does not see fit to supply these and therefore we do not see fit to recommend Eylipex-2.
