The skin care world has attempted to find effective scar treatments for years. Some applications have been discovered. HybriSil takes two of these applications into its product for the best possible treatment.
HybriSil is said to reduce the look of scars, prevent future scars, and soothe skin and discoloration. With scientific technology and research HybriSil has created a product that does not require a doctor’s visit. But does it work?
History of HybriSil
HybriSil uses the dermatologist technology of two scar treatments. By combining steroid use and silicone application, HybriSil is said to treat scars in two months. The steroid used in HybriSil is methylprednisolone acetate, which is a corticosteroid of mid-potency. Nearly ninety-eight percent of HybriSil is comprised of silicone, which has been proven to treat scars in other applications.
By adding a silicone base to a steroid of one percent, HybriSil hopes to treat scars effectively while preventing future scars.
HybriSil reports the ability to soften scars, treat inflammation, reduce skin discoloration, prevent future scaring, and protect against new scars. With an easy to apply product, HybriSil reports fast drying and a non-greasy formula that can be used with all ethnicities and all skin types. HybriSil is even gentle enough to use under make-up and with sunscreen. HybriSil also contains soothing agents.
HybriSil comes with several side effects. These include burning, hypertricosis, skin maceration, itching, acne eruption, secondary infections, irritation, hypoglycemia, skin atrophy, dryness, perioral dermatitis, folliculitis, striae, melasma, and allergic contract of dermatitis. Those with certain medical condition are not advised to use HybriSil. Children and those who are pregnant or nursing are cautioned in using HybriSil because of its steroid addition.
HybriSil does not list all its ingredients. Consumers are more susceptible to allergic reaction. It can also be undetermined whether or not HybriSil is as effective as it advertises because the ingredients are unknown. HybriSil can only be obtained through a prescription. The side effects associated with HybriSil are quite severe. In the end HybriSil may not be the best choice because of its many questions and risks.
