Prevage Body Total Transforming Anti Aging Moisturizer Review
An Elizabeth Arden company, Prevage claims to have created a high-performance moisturizer that will reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the skin, as well as make your skin firmer and smoother.
Claiming to use a Tripeptide Complex, we have high hopes for this product. Peptides have been proven to be effective at stimulating the growth of collagen, which makes the skin thicker and reduces wrinkles. We need to take a closer look at the ingredients in this moisturizer to see if it will truly be effective.
What are the Ingredients in Prevage Body Total Transforming Anti Aging Moisturizer?
Right away, we were disappointed to see that there was only one peptide in this moisturizer which makes it less effective. There also appears to be not enough of it in this product for it to be effective. There is Guanidine HCl in this product, which increases the solubility of peptides, making them more easily absorbed into the skin. That might increase the effectiveness of the Tripeptide, but we are also concerned about some of the other ingredients in this product.
The ingredients that we are concerned about are butylparaben, ethylparaben, isobutylparaben, methylparaben, and propylparaben. The key word in all of those ingredients is “paraben.” Parabens are low-quality ingredients that do nothing for your skin. They are irritants and have been linked to fatalities. At best, they do absolutely nothing for your skin and are just what we call “fillers” – filling up the bottle and saving the company the expense of putting more expensive, effective ingredients in.
What Else Should I Know About Prevage Body Total Transforming Anti Aging Moisturizer?
We would not recommend this product. It may not kill or even irritate your skin, but for the price, you can find something that will be more effective and risk-free
