What is Refissa?
Refissa is both a prescription and over the counter option in wrinkle care and for that matter skin pigmentation. They claim that it will reverse and reduce wrinkles and skin pigmentation while also helping you to reverse and prevent sun and smoking damage. They claim that Refissa is the product that will finally help you to make that difference.
History of Refissa
Refissa has been produced by two companies: Spear Pharmaceuticals and Obagi, a company known for various other products in general. They claim to be FDA approved, and they use a relatively common ingredient as its prescription name is of course limited to only certain ingredients on the market.
Benefits
It could potentially brighten skin and get rid of acne by increasing the rate at which the skin turns itself over and therefore gets rid of dead skin cells. They claim that it will produce results, and in some limited clinical studies, it has been able to reduce some fine lines, not eliminate them, and it has no affect on wrinkles.
Side Effects
Possible side effects of Refissa include redness, feeling of warmth, irritation, itching, peeling, redness, stinging, and dermatitis.
Conclusion
Refissa will not reduce your wrinkles or otherwise damage that has been suffered. In fact, it will actually make your skin more susceptible to future damage that may be associated with the sun and smoking in general, which is of course counteractive. It is actually an acne product, and with all the side effects, we definitely would not suggest it.
