What is Relastin?
Relastin is a line of skincare products that are meant to moisturize, reduce and reverse wrinkles, improve elasticity, and visibly firm skin. They have various health and beauty tips and otherwise product options for different areas of the face. They claim to have real women’s before and after pictures to support their claims.
History of Relastin
Relastin is backed by paid dermatologists and doctors who basically write small testimonials about how it’s supposed to work and regenerate elastin fibers in general terms. They claim you will see greater results than before and it has showed visible results when compared to skin not treated by Relastin. But they don’t actually back the study. They also focus on the idea that it was featured on ABC, or rather one of their supposed main ingredients was featured on ABC.
Benefits
We’re not exactly sure what they think was featured on ABC. None of their ingredients are actually wrinkle fighters, and none of them have received any special attention. They are moisturizers, common antioxidants found only in small and insignificant amounts, and otherwise preservatives that could actually further your wrinkles’ progress.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Relastin include redness, burning, rash, stinging, sun sensitivity, dry skin, inflammation, dermatitis, and flaking.
Conclusion
We would not suggest using Relastin. It doesn’t have the right things you actually should be looking for or anything otherwise that would help you with greater results. We’ve certainly seen better formulas that don’t have to mislead consumers and which actually have proven ingredients, and we recommend those, not Relastin.
